About Roselle, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Roselle is a suburb of Chicago in the northeastern part of Illinois. It was initially incorporated in 1922 and has become a bedroom community. This means that inhabitants usually commute to Chicago for their jobs. The initial pastoral and rural environment of the community has been lost in the last few decades as the village population has climbed to almost 25,000 people. The town, however, is still quiet and family-friendly. You’ll see people out with their kids riding bikes or taking strolls in the spring and summer and bundled up children throwing snowballs in the winter. Roselle provides the quality of life and sense of community usually found only in a small town, but with the expediency of a bigger metropolitan region. It is also cheaper to live in Roselle than in Chicago so it makes sense for young people just starting out in their careers as well as young families who want a safe and peaceful home for their kids.
Roselle is home to Illinois' finest winery, Lynfred Winery, where tours and tastings are available year-round. The winery’s Oktoberfest features exceptional fare, wine, and competitions including a grape stomping contest and grape seed spitting contest. Lynfred's opulent bed and breakfast is the ultimate in luxurious lodging. Many people take romantic weekend escapes to the vineyard year round. Seasonal weather means activities are different from month to month but there is always something to do, taste, or see at this spectacular, award-winning winery.
Roselle's budding Town Center is really becoming a hot spot for locals looking for delicious coffee and tea, great food and friendly people. There is also a variety of unique signature shops. Roselle Town Center hosts many festivals in the summer when it is warm and people are excited to be out and about while kids are out of school. There are lots of entertaining family-friendly events, including the yearly Rose Festival and Parade, Taste of Roselle, as well as a Concert in the Park Series.
